Featured Logo – BWAG

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

-Albert Einstein

Today I want to feature one of my favorite logo designs. An amazing woman came to me to create a logo for a business that promotes & educates women using firearms. She said that she wanted something fun and light-hearted that would get the point across.

She called the business BWAG, which stood for “B*tch With A Gun.” I knew this logo could go 1 of 2 ways:

1.) Scary and psychotic

2.) Fun and flirty

Luckily, I racked my brain on how to use typography to make this logo work. I created my own font. If you notice I made the lower bump of the “B” jut out farther so that there was less visual space between it and the “W”. The “G” is a girl with a wave in her hair as well as a bow. The “G” turns into the female symbol and she is holding a gun. The “G Girl” gives the logo the fun and flirty look she wanted.

I love this logo because it was a lot of work to get it to be what it is. I also love it because the “G Girl” can be used alone if needed. I always try to create an element within a logo that can be used seperately. It gives your business more variety and helps you build your brand. See just a few ways that the logo & the “G Girl” could be used.

Thanks for letting me show you one of my favorite logo designs! this is my life in design
