Saturday Snapshots #3 – Pet Caricatures

After I created my friend Laura’s Save the Date of her pets, one of her best friends approached me on doing her Christmas card. I was told by Laura that “I think you may have found a niche here.” So I agree to do her Christmas card.

She had 2 pugs – Edgar & Edith and 1 cat – Claude. I asked her to send me as many pictures she could showing me their facial features and personalities. I was excited to see how different the 2 pugs looked. Edgar was very much a plump little boy. He has boyish little facial features. Edith was a tiny little cutey with an underbite- and seemed very girly. Claude – well Claude has quite a belly 
So after just a few tweaks by the Mama here is the Christmas card I created for her and her perfect little, furry family!
I also made her poster prints of each pet so that she could hang them up in her office.
