Saturday Snapshots #5

Since our passion is going to National Parks and documenting them with cancellation stamps & awesome pictures, we upgraded from our point-and-shoot camera to a digital SLR! I’m so excited to share our new purchase with our readers!

Check it out!

There are so many good deals going on for Mother’s Day – if you are thinking of upgrading check out Target & Best Buy. I love a good deal!

Happy Cinco de Mayo – Corona Style!

Believe me…I like nothing better than a good excuse to eat Mexican food and not feel guilty about the bloating aftewards!

So to celebrate Cinco de Mayo here are some of my favorite Corona Ads from over the years.

The Evolution of Taco Bell

Yo quiero Taco Bell!

The Taco Bell logos has evolved quite a bit from its early days.

Their original logo was a man taking a siesta with his hat over his eyes and sitting on a bell. Kind of confusing…

Then came more of what we are probably used to. The iconic bell with Yellow & Brown as the colors.

It kind of makes sense since tacos are a golden color and the beef is brown.

Then came the more trendy rebranding. Hot Pink & Purple.

Not really sure why they went with those colors. It is more funky and makes me think on neon signs.

Definately like the font much better! The Beel is much more dynamic and has more depth since it is cocked to an angle.

Weigh in on what you think of it? Like it, dislike it, etc…
