It is important that you recognize your progress and take pride in your accomplishments. Share your achievements with others. Brag a little. The recognition and support of those around you is nurturing.

As you all know – I have been very excited to work on my sister’s website for her small business “Whitney Olson Portraits & Photography”! Well – we have built the site and launched it. We are calling it her “mini site”. Even though her site is designed and launched there are plans for a Phase 2 version of the site.
“about me” page
This page will eventually be a drop down menu of each photography category, such as; “newborns,” “weddings,” “pets,” etc.
This update will be part of Phase 2.
“session fees” page
“contact me” page
This page will have a form field section for clients to fill out that will email her directly.
This will also be part of Phase 2.
Check out the site for real!
Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.

Hello there readers…
I have been a very busy fishy working on my sister’s website. She is an amazing photographer but has had construction page up for a while now. So, we have been working hard to gather all the information needed for her site. In the meantime, I am building a “mini site” to launch while we build her “real site”.
Anywho – I will keep you all updated on when the “mini site” is launched and when the “real site” is launched.
Here is a sneak peak of the adorable tots she has photographed. Please keep her in mind for your photography needs. Her prices are very reasonable and she will work with you to build a package that fits any budget!
Come back to my blog to find out when the mini & the real sites are launched. I am working so hard on these projects and I enjoy sharing them with you and receiving your support! It makes me so happy to share my passion with you all!
Nothing will work unless you do.

Hello my readers I am sorry that this blog is pretty short but I am diligently working on my portfolio. I got my pictures back and they look awesome. I am busy cropping and adding my watermark. My goal is to have my super awesome photographs and then a digital composite of each piece. As you can imagine – this is very time consuming!
I can not wait to share the entire invitation portfolio with you; but for now, here is a little sneak peak…
Thanks again to my sister, Whitney!
Never continue in a job you don’t enjoy. If you’re happy in what you’re doing, you’ll like yourself, you’ll have inner peace. And if you have that, along with physical health, you will have had more success than you could possibly have imagined.
For years I have had this on-going list of ideas for wedding invitations and stationery sets. I am finally doing them. Now that most of my freelance projects have completed, I am taking some much needed me time. For most people, “me time” is a day at the spa or shoe shopping. For me…”me time” is finally getting to that list. So I am sitting here in my pajamas and turtle robe and knocking these ideas out! I am grabbing the bullfish by the horns today.
Tomorrow I will have my photo shoot for most of my wedding invitation & stationery samples. The photos will be featured in my online portfolio & on my Etsy store. The fun stuff is almost over and then it comes to the not-so-fun part….pricing. Ugh…I hate pricing. Knowing how much to charge for printing is easy – the printer’s determine that. But how much do you charge for YOUR time? So for now, I am just going to pretend that I don’t have to complete that part of the puzzle and just stick to the fun stuff…making pretty things!
Here are some inspirational photographs for tomorrow’s shoot. (these aren’t my designs I just love the photography style)
I hope to post pictures of the photo shoot. I will be taking pictures of us taking pictures. Sounds silly but I thought it would be fun to document this occasion since I have been working toward it for 7 years.
WISH ME LUCK, READERS! WOO-HOO!
For anyone who doesn’t know me, I am Jenni and I love anything graphic design related. I work as a packaging designer for 8 hours a day and usually go home and keep designing until it is time to go to bed. I loved it so much that a few years ago I started BullFish Graphics. I am obsessed with sharing my ideas and discovering “what’s new” and “what’s ew!” This is a blog about my life in design.
Seeing as though I am OBSESSED with any excuse for me to design something, one of my best friends, Amanda, told me about Etsy.com. She told me that I could sell my invitations and stationary designs online – I thought that it couldn’t be true! But I soon found out that it was….
So, I have signed up on Etsy and started a shop but I have no listings ready to post yet! This weekend I have a photoshoot with my very talented sister Whitney. We will be be taking different style photographs some for my online portfolio and some for Etsy. I will tell you more about that later…
Please follow this blog if you want to know more about me, my life, and what I offer as a graphic designer.
